In Networking Marketing it is critically important you stay with the absolute truth especially when there is so much hype and misinformation being put forth by over zealous sales types who have no business in this business. If you are to build a lasting network business, honesty is not only the best policy, it's the only way to do it. So what do you do if you just started or you are turning around a not so successful business by re-building your marketing group?
First you need to forget about any past failure or forget the fact you are brand new to this business and act from the platform of success. On the street, this technique is often called "fake it until you make it" and that smacks of un-truth. Plus it is somewhat false programming in your mental computer software. Rather than lying to yourself and others, stay with positive programming and marketing by what I call the "Partnership with success frame."
Here it is in a nutshell: You act in partnership with success. When something is true and when you do it long enough, pretty soon you'll forget that you're acting and you end up with the habit you want. (total unstoppable confidence when talking to someone about your business) Because it's true you'll do it naturally. The habit becomes reality and will draw you into success like a magnet.
While it may be true you have not reached your personal goals yet, or you are just beginning to work your program and haven't had the time to reach them, there are those in your upline and those with your program who have succeeded to wildly successful places in the industry or with your company. Use their success as reference points when talking to someone. Their success is your program's success and by extension or relationship, your success. Now you are staying with the truth. Your mind will readily except this platform and therefore your actions will be congruent with your belief structure.
Testimonials are the best thing you have going to build your confidence and give the assurance to others that they are making a good decision for themselves to participate in your project or program. In Network Marketing unlike other businesses you have natural partnerships upline and downline the organization from you. You can honestly say to people: "Mary, in my marketing group, has succeeded to this level of success" or "We have, in my organization, Bill who has built this size organization and Joe who has built his business to produce X amount of financial success."
